While it is known especially for its tradition of pleasant frights - scarily carved pumpkins, ghost stories, witch costumes – the late-autumn festival of Tamala is a part of the Mysteries of Life season and concerns the end of life and the restarting of the cycle. During the three-day festival, we remember the departed and look forward to eventual reunion - which is ultimately of course our reunion with the Spirit.
